Currently, there are over 100,000 skilled translators and translation companies worldwide. Many of them have spent years developing their business, are highly automated, have implemented Quality Control processes and have large numbers of satisfied clients. 

On the other hand, a large number are very highly qualified freelancers with extensive experience and client references.  Often, they work in informal partnerships to provide second-translator-verification for Quality Control.

This suggests that there are many reasons to work with translation partners.  All we need is to establish that we are working with a quality-focused individual or company.

2. Translators will have a Quality Control process in place, or at  least a second-translator-verification process
