Translation and Delivery

When you have an original ("source") document to distribute in multiple languages, this is the option you need.  Translations will be performed and reviewed by euroscript™, our translation partner.  If you want to use your own preferred translator, select DELIVERY ONLY, below.

IMPORTANT:  If you are translating an e-mail attachment, please also upload and identify the e-mail cover message. Both will be translated and presented together, as a single document.

The price for this service is a one-time fee of $125 per page per language, including online display for one year (1-page minimum). 

  • For Translation-and-Deliver pricing, a standard page is 250 words.  (Word count is displayed at the bottom of the Microsoft Word page.)  For simplicity, we count the words in the source document.
  • We allow up to 3 free translation replacement events per year.  One or more translations can be replaced at each event with no charge.  For more updates or replacements, email info@consumertranslations.com.
  • The $125 fee is allocated as follows:  Translation - $35; Second-Translator Verification - $35; Online Hyperlink Delivery - $55.  
  • For ease of ordering, we choose to charge the same fee for most language pairs, with a few exceptions.  (shown below)  Prices will be shown on your invoice.  
  • There are a few languages which, due to the small numbers of quality translators, require a higher charge as follows:
    • Japanese       $150  per page, including all services
    • Korean           $150  per page, including all services
    • Norwegian    $150  per page, including all services
    • Icelandic        $175  per page, including all services
    • Gaelic             $175  per page, including all services
  • NOTE:  You are free to change the hyperlink's graphic design to suit your needs.  Your company logo or other design, an indication of the content of the translation(s), etc. may be appropriate.

We allow up to 3 free translation replacement events per year.  One or more translations can be replaced at each event with no charge.  For more updates or replacements, email info@consumertranslations.com.  It is highly recommended to submit all changed translations in one update order, or you may use up your free updates unnecessarily.

Extending the online availability  costs $10 / page per language per year.  Consumer Translations reserves the right to adjust all prices.

Delivery Only

For posting existing translations online, this is the option to choose.  We will post your translations online and maintain them for $55 per page for the first year, additional years at $10 / page per year. We then customize and send you a hyperlink and a QR code to access all translations in this order; remember to upload your source language document if you wish it to be included as part of the hyperlink selection.   Note:  these will be your only distribution or delivery costs - you no longer need staff to mail-merge and add attachments.

Placing the link in your email (or QR code in your printed brochure) will ensure that readers can access translations immediately – and without using attachments.  This also means no mail-merge operations are required – send these links to your entire mail list, and let your readers click which language they want to read.

Existing translations could include:

  • Translations distributed in the past by other means
  • New translations to use for online communications
  • Any translations done by other Language Service Providers

Posting existing translations online costs $55 / page / language, for a one-year display.  Extending the online availability  will cost $10/page per language per year.  You will be contacted near the end of the year regarding  continuation.  There is no need to include future years in today's order.  Consumer Translations reserves the right to adjust all prices.

  • For Delivery-Only pricing, the actual number of pages is used.  Pages should be A4 or 8.5" X 11" or smaller.  If a page is larger, it will be priced as the equivalent  number of 8.5" X 11" or A4 pages.
  • Word count is not used in Delivery Only price calculations.

When you are ready to upload your translations, please ensure two things:

1. Each translation file has its language name or abbreviation in the filename;

2.  All translations are in final form and are in PDF format.
